Conversion Optimization

You're paying for the click. Your page is losing the sale.

AI made traffic easier to buy and scale. The landing page is where the money is won or lost now.

We'll look at it and come back with what's costing you conversions.

What changed

The algorithm learns from your page

Meta and Google now decide who sees your ads, and they optimize toward the people most likely to convert. That makes your landing page part of the targeting. Every visitor who bounces is a lesson the algorithm learns the wrong way.

01

Buying the click got automated

Bidding and targeting are largely the platform's job now. The part you still fully control is what happens after the click.

02

Your page trains the algorithm

Fewer conversions means weaker signals, and weaker signals mean the platform finds you worse customers. A leaky page costs you twice.

03

Every ad angle needs its own landing

Run distinct creative concepts and send them all to one generic page, and most of them break the promise the ad just made.

What you get

From the ad to the order confirmation

We look at the whole path a paid visitor takes, not just the homepage.

  • Funnel diagnostics. Ad to landing page to product page to checkout, with the drop-off at each step.
  • Message match. Does the page keep the promise the ad made, in the first screen?
  • Offer and pricing presentation. Bundles, guarantees, shipping and how the price is framed.
  • Mobile speed and Core Web Vitals. Where paid traffic is waiting, and what's slowing it down.
  • Trust signals. Reviews, returns, guarantees and contact info, where a buyer looks for them.
  • A test roadmap ranked by revenue impact. Biggest expected wins first, not easiest changes first.
  • Landing pages built per ad angle. One page per promise, so the click and the page agree.
  • Honest test readouts. Minimum sample size stated before the test starts.
We won't call a winner on 40 orders

Every test readout states its minimum sample size before it starts. If a result isn't readable yet, we say so, even when the early numbers look great. A test called early is a coin flip with a chart.

How it runs

On the HUNT Framework

The same operating system behind every engagement. See the full framework.

Hunt

Walk the funnel from ad to checkout and find where paid visitors leave.

Unify

Match every ad angle to a page that keeps its promise, and rank fixes by revenue impact.

Navigate

Build the pages and run 2 to 4 tests a month, with sample sizes set up front.

Track & Convert

Read results honestly, ship the winners, and feed what we learn back to the ads.

Who it's for

Built for brands buying real traffic

Founder-led, by operators who've managed $250M+ in ad spend across 47 brands.

CFO / CEO

Acquisition costs keep climbing

You want more revenue from the traffic you already pay for before anyone asks for a bigger budget.

CRO / Head of Growth

The ads look fine and the conversion rate doesn't

You want a ranked list of what to fix and tests you can actually trust.

Director of Paid Media

Your best concepts land on one generic page

You want pages that match each ad angle, so your creative gets credit for what it does.

Founder

You're paying for visitors who don't buy

You want to know exactly why, in plain English, and what to change first.

Not a fit if your store only sees a handful of orders a week, where split tests can't produce a readable result yet (we'd start with the audit and bigger changes instead), or you're after a redesign for looks alone.

How to start

Start with the audit, then test

Every account is different. Your price depends on scope and how involved you need us to be, from strategic guidance to fully hands-on. Higher testing volume and full page builds are quoted on a call. See how we put our fee on the line in The Wolf Pact.

FAQ

Conversion, answered

What's a good conversion rate for ecommerce?

There isn't one number worth chasing. Conversion rates swing with price point, category, device and traffic source, so a published average mostly tells you about other people's stores. Compare yourself to your own baseline by traffic source and device, and watch revenue per visitor alongside conversion rate.

How long does an A/B test take?

Until it has enough orders to be readable, and at least one or two full weekly cycles so weekday swings don't fool you. On many stores that's a few weeks. On lower-traffic pages it can be longer. We state the minimum sample size before a test starts, and we won't call a winner on 40 orders.

How much traffic do I need for CRO?

Enough conversions to read a test in a reasonable time. If a page only gets a handful of orders a week, split testing it will take months, so we focus on bigger, research-led changes and track the before-and-after trend instead. The audit tells you which approach your traffic supports.

Do you build the landing pages?

Yes. We build landing pages per ad angle, so the page someone lands on keeps the promise of the ad they clicked. We can build in your current platform or hand finished designs to your team.

Shopify or headless?

We work on both. Most conversion wins come from what's on the page, the offer and the speed, not the platform underneath. If you're on Shopify, we usually stay on Shopify. We'd only recommend headless if it solves a specific problem that's worth the cost.

What's in the CRO audit?

A walk through your funnel from ad to landing page to product page to checkout, a check on message match, offer and pricing presentation, mobile speed and Core Web Vitals, and trust signals. You get a test roadmap ranked by revenue impact, and the fee is credited to month one if you start testing with us within 30 days.
